Buuuut there is some exciting news: our marching band won our competition at East Jackson last Saturday!!! Overall Grand Champions! I mean, this hasn't happened in about 5 years; we're a single-A sized band competing in AA. My voice is still hoarse from all the screaming I did that night. Even better, practice was cancelle

Hello there!
It's me again, and OUR SCHOOL GAVE US TABLETS!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, not really. We had to pay for them, and they're technically laptops with swiveling touch screens, but still. I CAN DO DIGITAL ART THAT LOOKS (SLIGHTLY) LESS CRAPPY! :D Of course, they're constantly having problems at school, and we usually spend a good chunk of class trying to get the things to just work, but still... they've got this awesome program called ArtRage, and my sister and I have been having loads of fun with it :) Has anyone used that program before? Got any tips? 'Cuz at this point I'm pretty much just doing sketches.

Hello out there!
Well, I'm currently packing because headed to band camp tonight, and I'm SO excited! I'm in the color guard, so I'm expecting a lot of bruises from flag tosses gone wrong... :P I've already managed to crack my tooth with a flag. Goes to show how graceful I am (note sarcasm!)
I am a little worried about camp being tough this year because we've got these two new instructors who are SUPER intense. Pre-camp was pretty brutal. Ah well. The good outweighs the bad, in my opinion :)
On another note, my sister bought me an awesome Harry Potter sketchbook for my birthday, so expect more deviations! When I get back from camp, that is
